Why not call Satanism the Way to Enlightenment?

Satanism gives self gratification. According to Anton LaVey, Satanists do not believe in or endorse Satan. Instead Satanism is the grounds for self gain or self pleasure. Why not call it the Way of Pion if you don't believe in Satan?
